What’s been happening:

Rene' Susan Albrecht ("The Mrs.")and I met at PSU (West Halls) in '75. Rene' is an attorney. We have no kids. We relocated a handful of times chasing our careers and have been in Menlo Park, CA (Silicon Valley) since '91. We now split time between home and Healdsburg, CA. We golf, mountain bike, hike & travel when we can. The goal in moving to the Bay Area was to thrive in the great weather and to connect with the "Start-up" Venture Investment Community. I remained in the corporate sector until '97 when I resigned my Executive Officer role at a large Software Company to join a Venture Capital firm and founded my Company whose focus is restarting and selling privately funded technology companies. Since '97 that string numbers ten - luck has been kind. In December '06 we made a decision where I would take no more than 3 Board Director seats limiting my work time - 90 hours a week gets to be a grind. So, as Rene' continues reveling in her legal beagle status, I am semi-retired sitting on Boards in Sweden and the Netherlands and Chairing a Bio-Diesel Company in Northern California. Travel is a regular adventure for us. We've enjoyed many fascinating destinations. The American South West, India, and Northern & Western Europe are high on that list.
